| Properties: | ||
| Massive, dense deposits result in AML products having superior properties which provide added value to users. The materials are sound and dense, fine grained, relatively non-porous limestones with very low absorption. As a result, they dry and heat readily, remain intact and resist degradation at all levels of handling and processing. |

| Chemical Grades: | |
| AML's high calcium limestone and dolomite have demonstrated excellent decrepitation properties and calcination behavior superior to many other sources for use in vertical shaft kilns. The sulfur content is exceptionally low in both chemical grades. |
| Chemical Grade High Calcium Limestone: | |
| AML's deposit of high calcium limestone is exceptionally pure and consistent. As illustrated by the chart of typical properties, the chemical content is ideal for the iron ore industry, desulphurisation processes, lime production in vertical shaft and rotary kilns, and other chemical/industrial uses. |
|
| Chemical Grade Dolomite: | |
| AML's dolomite is being successfully utilized in iron ore pelletization, the sintering process of iron production, electric furnace steel making, and dolomitic lime manufacturing. |
|
| Gradation: | |
| All three (3) grades of AML stone can be sized to any required specification. Materials are being supplied in such diverse sizes as 4" x 3/4", 2 1/2" x 1 1/4", 1 1/2" x 3/4", ASTM and DOT construction aggregates, 1/2" x 5/32", -1/4" fines, washed manufacturing concrete fines, and precise chemical sizing as small as -1/8" washed fines. |
